Program Summary
The Tanzania Safari offer you the magnificent views of the highlands and it a good way of letting your body exercise as it is a wonderful short walking safari, the walking safari is exclusive of a drive to park that is an essential destination in any northern circuit national park. You will also walk to local communities, hike the hills, track the animals and later return to the vehicle and drive back to your campsite.
Program Details
Day 0- Arrival Kilimanjaro Airport-Arusha
Arrival at the airport picked up and transferred to Arusha at Out Post Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Drive to Lake Manyara National
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Lake Manyara National park picnic lunch with you for a full day tour game drive, today you expect to see a lot of wildlife like elephants,Zebras,wildebeest,antelopes,hippos and if one is lucky will see the elusive tree-climbing lions of lake Manyara exploring the park till very late in the evening drive to Jambo campsite for Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Drive Across Ngorongoro crater to Nainokanoka Village
After breakfast drive across Ngorongoro crater to Nainokanoka Village, then your walking safari will eventually start from here walk up the Olmoti crater and Munge waterfalls. Dinner and overnight at Nainokanoka/ Embulumbulu campsites full board.
Day 4. Trek from Embulbul/Nainokanoka village
Start your trekking from Embulbul/Nainokanoka village walking towards Empakai Highlands. After lunch stop you will walk down the Empakai crater where the lake in middle sometimes is full of pink flamingos though you might come across with zebras and buffalos population later ascend back to the camp on the crater rim for dinner and overnight Empakai campsite.
Day 5.Depart Towards Nairobi village
After breakfast depart the empakai campsite towards Nairobi village with lunch boxes while enjoying fantastic views and breathtaking landscape as you continue on walking to the base of Oldonyo Lengai, where you will be picked up by the driver and overnight at Kamakia campsite at Lake Natron
Day 6. Back to Arusha
After breakfast, you will do some cultural activities visit the lake early in the morning then come back to camp for early hot lunch while after lunch you will start the drive back to Arusha at your booked hotel.
